Almost finished Another Website

Thursday, February 28, 2008 0 comments

Today was quite a busy day, but I'm laying in bed now with a
comforting feeling of having got a lot done. One of the bigest project
blessings was the goal of completing a website for someone. I've
learned so much through this web project, I feel a lot more confident
in building websites and have some plugins which I now know work and I
can use on future projects. Once the website is complete I'll pass the
link along. Sorry that the blessing wasn't so intriguing. God has been
good though and I don't want to go through life missing all the little
blessings while in search for the "Big" ones. I want to be able to
look at this blog in the future and realize how much God has done for
me.
When you realize how much God has done for you, you will want to serve
Him so much more. However, if you forget what God has done for you
then you difficulties will become easy to see and you will start
blaming God. Remember Israel

How do I put gas in my tank?

Tuesday, February 26, 2008 0 comments

Hey ya'll I just got back from visitation and remembered a funny experience which I had to share. :) Before leaving for Bloomsburg I needed to stop at Hess to fill up my car. It was quite thirsty. As I was filling up my tank a girl came over to me and the guy who was pumping his truck behind me and asked for help to open her gas tank lid. The other guy didn't seem to care, so I locked my gas nozzle into place to keep pumping and went over to help. She told me it was a rental so she wasn't familiar with it, and then she told me she had been reading the manual, so who knows how long she had been there :p . After looking around and finding nothing by the drivers seat, I was like...umm, this is weird. Then I realized what the problem was I went over to the tank where she was standing and pushed the lid and sure enough it popped open :P . She was sure embarrsed by that. I then gave her the Good Person track, lol. :) So maybe God "just happened" to have her there at that time and make her not know how to open her tank just so she could get that tract. That is my blessing for now...STAY TUNED, MORE UPDATES ON THE BLESSINGS OF GOD COMING NEXT!!!

The Bloomsburg Trip

Sunday, February 24, 2008 1 comments

Hey Everyone, I'm back from the Trip. It was truly a great blessing to have preached at the church in Bloomsburg. The people were so friendly to us. We (Mr. Anger, Sarah, my sister Nina and I) left at 7:30 this morning to Bloomsburg. The trip there was almost 2 hours. The kids were great for Sunday School. I just love working with little kids they are so fun. I was able to teach them the Naman song and even the three, ten year old boys loved it. We have a fun afternoon of going out to eat "Chinese food" then sleeping on the church pews, practicing songs and reading. It was great. I was able to then preach the evening message.

I feel so privileged that the Lord gave me this opportunity to preach plus a great afternoon of singing and all. God is so Great. Its amazing how many things there are to be thankful for. My main thing that I'm thankful for today is the privilege to preach God's Word.

Have a Great Day Everyone!

Here is the video I have just created for my Bible Institute Project with my friend Sam. Enjoy!

People, I don't know what to say, but without a doubt sugar does have an effect on people. We just had some people over today from our church and one lady brought some chocolate pudding. I Love Chocolate Pudding :). Since my family eats healthy for the most part I never get to have have chocolaty stuff. Its probably really good we don't eat 'junk' food because then I would be acting like this all the time. I feel so awake right now and so very talkative. But, I seriously need to get to bed because I have to preach tomorrow evening and I have 2 hours to drive early tomorrow morning. Okay, ya'll have a Great Day and Keep Serving the Lord!

Ok, I would write more, but I'm dead tired right now. Keep Serving the Lord!

Sqooshiness

Wednesday, February 20, 2008 1 comments

The blessing the Lord has given to me today is Bro. George. His
message taught me what I needed to get across in my head. One analgy
which I believe will stick with me for awhile is the sponge. If we
stay soaked as a sponge and sit we will sour. However we must allow
God to squeeze us on to others (in the sense if witnessing) We can
then continue to soak and squoosh then ;) that's my definition.

So to my fellow brothers and sisters, let God get squooshing and you
get soaking. We will then squash the devil through our squooshiness.
But, don't forget to soak or there will be nothing to squirt. Ok,
enough with that.

Have a great day, and please feel free to let me know I'm not
talking to a cyberspace wall. I have no idea if anybody is reading my
little posts. I'd sure be glad to read what God is doing for you too!

Video Prayer Request

Monday, February 18, 2008 0 comments

More Exciting News!!!!

Well, ok.. Its not hot off the press, but its been busy today, sooo
that's my excuse ;) ok, lame. But, the answered prayer wasn't. I was
up at 4:30 this morning trying to get my computer to render the final
clip. My rebellious computer continued to display error messages. I
had only one other option... To pray, okay I know I know it should
have been first. I will learn from this lesson.
The reason I say this was of upmost importance us because this
project was due in about 9 hours and it had taken a grand total of
over 26 hours to render the three of the four clips. (could have been
the reason for the rebellion) also, I felt I had totally run out of
options. I prayed and begged God that there would be no more error
messages and after 3.5 hrs. Out popped my fourth and last video clip.
You could imagine my excitment at the fact that video rendered
properly. Theoretically I should have encountered another error
message. I believe God placed that 'tragedy' in my life to turn it
into a blessing! Hey! That reminds me of Georges message from Sunday
Night. Coping don't conquer.
I could have still made the video with 3 of the 4 videos, but to Gods
glory and now my blessing I was able to conquer and now can share with
you what Great things God hath done!!!!

Rejoice and Pray to our Lord brothers and sisters!!

I just wanted to say that I am very thankful to have a little
brothers. They can be such a blessing :) I'm down in my room now, but
I can hear Hudson skating around upstairs in the kitchen getting ready
for tonight. He's so cute, hearing him upstairs reminded me of what a
blessing God has given me.

Let the Love of God dwell in you richly! Have a Great Day!

Grow on the Vine

Saturday, February 16, 2008 0 comments

I was just reading through the book "Grace, God's Unmerited Favor" and
there was a verse which really shot out at me.
John 15:16
- "Ye have not chosen me, but I have chosen you, and ordained you,
that he should go and bring forth fruit"

God has chosen us for the express purpose to bring forth fruit. It
seems that memorizing the Word of God, studying the Bible, encouraging
the brethren and other works are for the purpose of bringing forth
much fruit.

I really thank the Lord for showing me this verse and working in my
heart, my desire is to serve Christ and be used all I can be for Him.
It thrills my heart when I feel God is telling me areas to focus on or
explains why I should be doing what Im doing.

If somebody out there is actually reading this blog please make sure
you are on the True Vine, the proof will be in the fruit. If you know
you've been saved let this be an encouragment to grow and bear much
fruit.

Nothing in this world thrills me as much as having God's Word speak to
me (though its got some tough things to say to me) I can't imagine a
life without Christ, it would be so purposeless. I thank God my savior
for saving my wretched soul even when he already knew how many times I
would disappoint him. All I can say is PRAISE THE LORD IVE BEEN SAVED
BY GRACE AND NOT BY WORKS

Happy Birthday Dad!

Friday, February 15, 2008 0 comments

Praising the Lord for an awesome Dad! Today (February 15, 2007) My family and I got together a surprise birthday party for my Dad. He had told my Mom he didnt want a big party, but hey its his 50th birthday how could you not do something extra special :). I can't imagine having lived 50 years. Thats over double my age! Its like living my life twice...well, at least I'm saved so I could live for God. Speaking of that, imagine how long eternity is. that gives me another blessing. I will be able to be with my Dad in heaven someday too! The way things are looking the rapture will probably happen soon. But whether I live to be one more day old or if I get to live to 50, I praise the Lord that I'm saved and I have a heavenly Father who loves me even more than my earthly father....ands thats a lot
Rejoicing!

I need to keep more on top of cleaning my trumpet, I am supposed to clean it every 2 months. Well, ummm. I'll just say its not been anywhere close to that. Some of the parts in that trumpet needed some scrubbing :) Now its all good, Praising the Lord

Horrayy I'm finished more classes

Wednesday, February 13, 2008 0 comments

I've got a very exciting blessing....at least for me it is. I prayed for a productive day today and it was! :) 1. I got my Personal Evangelism stuff all together/completed some of it, there is no final so I believe I'm offically done :D 2. I finished another speech course and it is ready to be mailed off. 3. I finished another video project and the guy told me that he liked my work and he would give me more projects!!! Thats exciting for me. You got to see this guys landscape work. The guy had a budget of $50,000 to landscape the yard I edited. Its nice work..Okay, I got to get more done now :) I'll see some of you all at church tonight, as long as we don't crash on the ice :)

I forgot to mention this blessing yesterday...As of recently I've been quite busy with Bible Institute, speech/communication work, and Video Projects. On top of this I've been preparing for a messge which I was supposed to preach this upcoming Sunday at a church in Bloomsburg, needless its been a little bit of pressure. But, God gave me a blessing ... one of the men at the church in Bloomsburg is about die..okay thats not the blessing, but because of that it gave me an extra week to prepare because the Pastor decided to wait a week before going on vacation. So now I can work with Sam and quickly get our final project done for Minor Prophets II which will be a great relief.

The Grace of God

Tuesday, February 12, 2008 0 comments

I've been preparing a message about Titus 2:12-14 and it has been more exciting than I was anticipating :). I wasn't planning to elaborate much on the first verse, but as I thought more about it I began getting very excited and my message has been really coming together. I'll just share a tidbit :). The interesting thing is that I had just started a book called "Grace - God's unmerited favor" by Charle Spurgeon. In the part I was reading in this book he was talking about the Covenant of Grace, how we know for sure God has chosen everyone who believes and repents. God did not choose some people to demonstrate His Grace to and reject others. Grace is available to all.
One verse that he used to show how we don't need to ever doubt that our salvation is secure was in Hebrews 6:17-18. This is God's oath to us that we are sealed unto the day of redemption...Grace shown to us.

"Wherein God, willing more abundantly to show unto the heirs of promise the imutability of his counsel, confirmed it by an oath: That by two immutable things, in which it was impossible for God to lie, we might have a strong consolation, who ahve fled for refuge to lay hold upon the hope set before us."

Isn't that an awesome verse. We who have fled for refuge to Christ have a strong consolation!

God's Grace is soo God toward us!
