The Grace of God

I've been preparing a message about Titus 2:12-14 and it has been more exciting than I was anticipating :). I wasn't planning to elaborate much on the first verse, but as I thought more about it I began getting very excited and my message has been really coming together. I'll just share a tidbit :). The interesting thing is that I had just started a book called "Grace - God's unmerited favor" by Charle Spurgeon. In the part I was reading in this book he was talking about the Covenant of Grace, how we know for sure God has chosen everyone who believes and repents. God did not choose some people to demonstrate His Grace to and reject others. Grace is available to all.
One verse that he used to show how we don't need to ever doubt that our salvation is secure was in Hebrews 6:17-18. This is God's oath to us that we are sealed unto the day of redemption...Grace shown to us.

"Wherein God, willing more abundantly to show unto the heirs of promise the imutability of his counsel, confirmed it by an oath: That by two immutable things, in which it was impossible for God to lie, we might have a strong consolation, who ahve fled for refuge to lay hold upon the hope set before us."

Isn't that an awesome verse. We who have fled for refuge to Christ have a strong consolation!

God's Grace is soo God toward us!
